Finance :
Corporate Action : Quality and Productivity increase.
Prior to the project, this place was the "hot spot" of the company...
The department had experienced :

a variety of quality issues (Accuracy & Timeliness)

team size increase with the volume
-
lot of overtime
-
bad team spirit
It was a great place to launch an improvement project...
We worked on this project during around 3 months to identify :
-
the process bottlenecks which were responsible for the timeliness issue and created the "chaos" in the department
-
that the "order" level of the department was responsible for a lot of rework, lost of time and people frustration .

that roles & responsibilities were not set properly which created a multitude of lot of "process errors". As a consequence, they spent too much time on finding the "who" instead of working on the "how". By setting in place the right processes, the right "RACI" board...we were able to reduce drastically the "bad" athmosphere between people...
At the end, the project led to :
-
produce more than 30 % of productivity increase (number of transactions per head)
-
reduce to nearly "0" the overtime (proof of a better organisation) which had a drastic impact on human capital and costs.
-
increase transaction quality.
